Proudly made in France, STAUB cast iron cookware possesses exceptional heat-retaining qualities, so it heats evenly throughout, making it unsurpassed for slow-cooking food to tender perfection, and for simmering hearty stews. Its textured enameled black matte interior browns food beautifully, without sticking. Classic STAUB lids are heavy weight and tight-fitting to retain moisture. Tiny spikes on their interior create a rain-forest effect, evenly returning juices back onto food.

Ceramics

The beautiful porcelain enamel glaze of STAUB ceramics prevents moisture absorption during baking, so baked goods won't dry out, and it diffuses heat gently and retains heat exceptionally well. Oven and broiler safe up to 572°F, ceramics can also be used in the microwave and are conveniently dishwasher safe. Highly scratch and impact resistant, STAUB ceramics are also freezer safe. Bake and then serve directly to table in these elegant dishes.
